My Journey: From Military Service to Career Transitions
Change is rarely easy. I enlisted in the military fresh out of high school, and after leaving the service, navigated the winding path back to civilian life. Along the way, I experienced marriage, divorce, and remarriage—each chapter filled with its own challenges and hard-won lessons. I spent time working low-level retail jobs, all the while determined to earn my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from respected universities. Through every transition, I learned that success often comes down to how effectively you tailor your story to match the role you want.
Over more than a decade, I refined a systematic approach to building resumes and cover letters—an approach that consistently opened doors I never would have reached otherwise. What once took me hours of crafting, refining, and revising, I have now distilled into Lightning Job.
